Uno Sports is a chain of multisport stores, a proudly national company, dedicated to inspire, to promote sports and healthy lifestyles through a wide range of products and services in more than 12 sports disciplines. All this accompanied by a warm and specialized service to properly guide customers. 

Due to the technical complexity of the product and/or its use, it has become a challenge to train the population that integrates the sales team in the totality of the products, so that the company through constant efforts has sought different ways to exceed the customer's expectations with a differentiated and expert service. 

This is how the UNO Sports Corporate University was born, with the objective of formalizing training and professional formation programs that impact the quality of service to our clients by providing adequate guidance and humanized treatment, simultaneously influencing the life of each of the collaborators, through their integral growth and personal fulfillment, with opportunities for education and development of soft and technical skills. 

What is it about? 

The Corporate University is made up of a study program that includes the application of the general processes of each job position, the technical aspect of each of the products for sale, understanding of the different sports disciplines that make up the store chain's offer, sales techniques and types of customers, business management, administrative knowledge, soft skills and life skills: self-care, personal finances, healthy lifestyles, among others.  

In addition to the basic training programs for store personnel, the ADMINISTRATOR 361 program was created for point of sale managers. This is an extension of the regular training program that contains additional training in the administrative area in order to obtain integral growth that allows employees to grow professionally in technical fields to improve the performance of their positions, such as: language, basic operating environment, data analysis and indicators, technology, visual, and other soft skills such as leadership, team management, among others. All this with the ambition to combine it with accreditations from institutes recognized by the Ministry of Education. 

How does it do it?  

The UNO Sports Corporate University has its space in Sabana Norte, and its offer includes not only master classes but also workshops in public or Grupo UNO sports facilities where participants can learn in a playful way or through first-person experience, increasing not only the rooting of knowledge but also empathy towards customers. 

With the objective of actively involving team members and maximizing their performance, UNO Sports created the figure of SPORTS HOSTS, being these regular collaborators with high sports performance who besides sharing the passion of the clients also wish to promote themselves as facilitators of the University by teaching some of the courses that are part of the training plan in conjunction with external facilitators. 

What else is part of the Corporate University project? 

Corporate Social Responsibility: Through the 3R (recycle, reduce, reuse) programs developed at the work sites, and alliances with different children's and youth associations dedicated to encouraging the practice of sports as a protective factor, employees internalize good practices, educating them on the impact of their work in the community and work environment. 

Mass communication of topics of common interest: Share in a general way through digital channels the information of general interest within the organization, creating synergy between employees and departments, increasing productivity and sense of belonging. The role of the Corporate University is to integrate all team members of Grupo UNO, directing the digital method of dissemination to culturize the practice of sports and the values of the business group. Among the sections are: Getting to know UNO (interviews to meet team members), Learning with UNO (technical product information), UNO Curiosities (partnerships, commercial launches, new products) invitations to corporate activities, birthdays as well as academic and sporting achievements of team members. 

Certifications: It consists of three levels: amateur, constant and elite. The amateur level contains the basic information for understanding the organization and the skills required to operate; these 4 initial blocks must be taken by all first-time personnel. It totals 40 hours distributed in 20 modules. The 100% for store personnel must continue and complete the 2nd level, called Constant, which consists of 5 more blocks for a total of 180 hours to guarantee indispensable technical knowledge about the product and sports disciplines, distributed in 60 modules. The final level of the program will be called Elite, and every store manager must complete it to be certified as Manager 361. It consists of 3 final blocks, for a total of 27 hours, distributed among the 9 modules that comprise them. 

AMATEUREffective completion of a 40-hour corporate induction process on basic operational concepts and best practices. 

CONSTANTOptimal level of knowledge about products and sports disciplines for effective sales and responsible advice in sports practice (180 hours). 

ELITEExpert degree in corporate processes, sound practices, technical and administrative knowledge of point of sale (27 hours).
